Navigating the Chariot Hazard
The primary threat inside this sub-surface tomb comes from the massive, mechanical chariots that patrol the stone ramps. These lethal constructs move on fixed paths and will instantly crush any Tarnished caught directly in their path. To successfully advance, players must utilize the narrow alcoves along the walls to hide and wait out the patrol cycles.
Advanced explorers can actually destroy these annoying hazards by triggering a hidden pillar trap deep within the dungeon. Striking this pillar forces an optical light trap to spawn, causing the chariots to collide with one another and shatter completely. Facing two heavily armored knights simultaneously makes this one of the most punishing encounters in the game. They coordinate their aggressive strikes to overwhelm players who rely purely on brute force methods.
Mastering the parry mechanic remains the single most effective strategy for breaking down their stalwart defenses. Isolating one knight while utilizing a powerful Spirit Summon to distract the other can turn the tides of this difficult battle. Overcoming this legendary duo rewards players with the Crucible Axe armor pieces and the powerful Ordovis's Greatsword.
